The Big Bag Carousel was developed for
the IBC family of packaging equipment to permit high output that can reach
up to 100 IBCs per hour. Several bagging mouths pass in sequence under
the discharge hopper of the weighing system (net scale system) for each
IBC being filled. While IBC's are being filled, the filled bags are
being removed and evacuated by a powered roller conveyor. An empty bag
will be applied to the bag clamping spout where it will automatically be
indexed into filling position. An automatic empty-pallet magazine will
insert empty pallet for subsequent filled IBC.

The carousel
system: The carousel is
equipped with six stations complete with bag-holders, one of which
presents the bag through the automatic bag pick-up unit, one is used
for bag filling, two are in intermediate positions for de-aeration
or bag vibration, and one removes the full bag to the closing line.
The bag is then closed and the cycle completed. This is the
ultimate high speed scale and big bag filling machine available for
bulk flexible packaging. |
