Our weighing machines are fast and extremely accurate exceeding any of the imported machines found in the industry. We have engineered them with components that are available from numerous suppliers around the US and Canada. We have eliminated the proprietary parts altogether so you are not without what you need to complete your orders! As of May 2010, Affeldt GmbH, has dissolved and is completely out of business but we still inventory replacement parts. Our supply includes all mechanical parts, pneumatic valves, cylinders, tubing, motors, gear heads, power supplies, etc. We remain with some original Affeldt circuit boards and processor (mother) boards but our supply is low. It is our pleasure to announce that we now have a field retrofit controls package for all Affeldt staggered bucket weighing machines! The retrofit replaces all Affeldt electrical and electronic components with universal and locally available automation products. APM, Inc. has pioneered the use of PLC technology for produce combination weighing machinery. The technology is very stable and is available "off the shelf". Allen-Bradley has distribution throughout our fine country, Canada, and all of Europe! There is a dealer near you! We offer completely remanufactured Affeldt weighing machines! Our remanufacturing process starts by complete disassembly and disposal of all Affeldt supplied parts, surface cleaning and preparation, powder coat paint, new parts assembly including all new mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic components and parts "off the shelf". APM, Inc. is interested to purchase or trade for pre-owned Affeldt weighing machines with 10, 12, 13, and 14 scales that are in the staggered bucket arrangement and no longer in running condition.
